Forme No. 1 Hanging Rail

The Forme No. 1 Hanging Rail by Mi & Gei is a wall-mounted brass kitchen rail inspired by the cafés and bistros of Paris. Each rail includes matching brass hooks — five on the small, seven on the large — providing a flexible way to keep kitchen tools at hand and display treasured pieces. Available in two sizes.

Part of the Libre Forme series. Each piece is sculpted by hand before being cast in brass. The raw molded surface retains a natural texture, creating a unique, hewn character. Made in India.

Mi & Gei designs are created by explorers and inspired by the world — eschewing modern industrial practices for old-world techniques, breathing poetry into everyday objects.

Materials

Solid, unlacquered brass. Hand-cast in Mumbai. Materials are not lacquered and will age and oxidize over time. The surface is marked from the casting process, combining reflective and rough matte areas on a speckled texture. Refer to the care guide for best practices.
